While registration for the 2008 season closed on November 30, 2007 - we hope that the information on this page is helpful. Further, we hope that you will click on the email links provided on this page and communicate your questions or concerns with our club.
Probably the largest concern of the uninitiated is the cost of participation. For both boys and girls, club dues are $300 per player and includes the player's uniform. This fee helps to cover the Stampede's league dues, purchase of field equipment, referee fees, field rental and much more. We do provide discounts for siblings. However, each player is required to purchase their own equipment. For girls, this means a crosse (stick), goggles and a mouthpiece. For boys, each player must have a helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves and a crosse. The total for all of the equipment for boys is roughly $300.00 but can be much more depending on what you buy. Speak to the coaches about outlets and resources for getting the best deals on gear.
We realize that some families may not have this kind of money available. The club has done some very successful fund-raising in the past years and has financial assistance available as well as some "loaner" equipment.
There will be much news and many opportunities in the coming months to participate with, and support the Gold Country Stampede. Please click on the links to the right for more information or to get involved.
